five Things

  • I was raised in a military household and had several homes growing up, but my family currently resides in Maryland.

  • I spent a month in Florence, Italy, and completed a full-time pasta-making course when I was transitioning between investing jobs.

  • I took two gap semesters in college and primarily traveled solo through Southeast Asia and Europe.

  • I grew up with a poodle and two poodle mixes — needless to say, I am a big fan of poofy, cuddly dogs.

  • My first job was selling greeting cards in my local mall, and I still point to that role as sparking my love for writing.
