By Tribeca Venture PartnersWe’re joining the chorus of friendly reminders to please Wear A Mask.
We’re not doctors or epidemiologists. We’re technology investors, and we use as much data as we can get our hands on to make investment and operating decisions every day. The data on masks is unambiguous. Masks reduce COVID-19 transmission, so therefore we should all wear masks.
We’ve made tremendous progress here in NYC, going from the epicenter of the pandemic to an example of how a data-driven approach can combat COVID-19. On July 13th, there were ZERO COVID deaths in New York. As we move through Phase 3 (for those in NYC), we’re encouraging everyone to continue good practices that will help save lives, maintain our gains, and reopen the economy.

Our Managing Partner, Brian Hirsch, recently sat down with The Venture Brief to discuss Tribeca Venture Partners over the last 10 years, investing in ACV Auctions (the unicorn in Buffalo), and why NYC will be the epicenter of innovation in a post-pandemic world. Summer Reads
It’s not the summer we planned for, but we’ve found it helpful to dive into a few good reads during this time of social distancing and staying at home.
We’re offering up our take on The Early Stage Founder’s Reading List, summer reading on management, leadership, and entrepreneurship. While this list is by no means comprehensive, it is a good place to start putting yourself into the mindset of an entrepreneur.
