Jack Kokko is the CEO and founder of AlphaSense, a software startup providing a groundbreaking research engine for financial services and corporate intelligence. As a former financial analyst, his mission is to solve the information overload problem and build AlphaSense into a ubiquitous platform used by knowledge professionals across Wall Street and beyond. AlphaSense is used by hundreds of investment management firms and corporations and has won numerous industry awards, including, “best analytics product” and “best mobile solution.”

Before AlphaSense, he was the founding CEO of Silecs, Inc., building the company into a global supplier of advanced materials, improving the performance of billions of semiconductor devices used in mass market electronics. Previously, Mr. Kokko was a senior analyst on Morgan Stanley’s technology team in Menlo Park, California, and telecom team in London, UK.

Mr. Kokko holds an MBA with a major in finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Oulu, Finland and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the Helsinki School of Economics.
